German PhysioLaser technology for pain relief, inflammation, tissue healing and more. A non-invasive, evidence-informed approach to supporting your recovery.
Low Level Laser Therapy — also known as LLLT, photobiomodulation or cold laser therapy — is a non-invasive, painless treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular repair and regeneration. At Integrated Natural Medicine, we use German PhysioLaser technology, a professional-grade device developed in Germany and trusted by practitioners internationally.
Unlike surgical or high-powered lasers, LLLT does not cut or damage tissue. The light energy is absorbed by cells, where it supports mitochondrial function, reduces oxidative stress, and encourages the body's own healing processes. Treatments are comfortable and generally well tolerated, with no recovery time required.
Low level laser therapy is used across a wide range of health concerns and may form part of an integrated management plan. Conditions for which people commonly seek LLLT support include:
Laser therapy is a complementary therapy and is not intended to replace medical advice or treatment. Please consult your GP for diagnosis and medical management.
Our clinic uses a German-engineered PhysioLaser device equipped with a range of specialised probes, allowing us to tailor each session to the area and condition being addressed. Available probes include those designed for:
Laser therapy can be used as a standalone treatment or combined with acupuncture for a synergistic approach. Many of our practitioners integrate laser into complex treatment plans alongside acupuncture, naturopathy or Chinese medicine.
A laser therapy session at our Noosa clinic is comfortable and straightforward. Your practitioner will discuss your concerns, determine the most appropriate probe and protocol, and apply the laser to the relevant areas. Sessions typically range from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the areas being treated and the condition involved.
You will feel little to nothing during the treatment — at most, a gentle warmth. There is no pain, no needles and no recovery time. You can return to your normal activities immediately after your session.
Some conditions respond after just a few sessions, while others — particularly chronic or complex presentations — may benefit from a more sustained course of treatment. Your practitioner will discuss expected timelines at your consultation.
In addition to general laser therapy, we offer laser acupuncture — a needle-free method of stimulating traditional acupuncture points using low-level laser light. This approach shares the same underlying principles as needle acupuncture but is completely non-invasive.
Laser acupuncture is an excellent option for children, patients with needle sensitivity or phobia, or situations where needle insertion may not be ideal. It can be used across the full range of acupuncture indications and is included within our acupuncture appointments when appropriate.
Our clinic is conveniently located in Noosa and welcomes patients from across the Sunshine Coast region, including Noosa Heads, Noosaville, Tewantin, Cooroy, Peregian Beach, Sunshine Beach, Eumundi, Marcus Beach, Pomona and surrounds.
