Noosa, Sunshine Coast QLD
Traditional and laser acupuncture from experienced practitioners. A holistic, personalised approach to supporting your health and wellbeing on the Sunshine Coast.
Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of healthcare in the world, originating from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) over 2,000 years ago. It involves the careful insertion of very fine, sterile needles at specific points on the body to encourage the body's natural capacity to heal and regulate itself.
At Integrated Natural Medicine, we blend classical acupuncture principles with a modern, evidence-informed approach. Each treatment is tailored to your individual constitution and health goals — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Acupuncture may form part of a holistic management plan for a wide range of health concerns. Some of the areas people commonly seek acupuncture support for include:
Acupuncture is also increasingly sought for healthy ageing and longevity support — helping to maintain energy, vitality and wellbeing as you age. Whether you are looking to address a specific concern or simply invest in your long-term health, acupuncture offers a gentle, natural approach to supporting your body through every stage of life.
Acupuncture is a complementary therapy and is not intended to replace medical advice or treatment. Please consult your GP for diagnosis and medical management.
We offer both traditional needle acupuncture and laser acupuncture — a needle-free alternative that uses low-level laser light to stimulate acupuncture points. Laser acupuncture is particularly suitable for children, those with needle sensitivity, or areas where needle insertion is difficult.
Both approaches share the same underlying philosophy: working with the body's energy systems to encourage balance and wellbeing.
Your initial consultation is longer than follow-up sessions, giving us time to take a thorough health history and understand your unique needs. We'll discuss your primary concerns, your lifestyle, diet, sleep and emotional wellbeing — all of which inform your treatment plan in Chinese medicine.
Treatment typically involves resting with fine needles in place for 20–30 minutes. Most patients find this deeply relaxing. Afterwards, you may feel calm and refreshed, or pleasantly sleepy — both are normal responses.
